Delete your account
You can delete your Barya account and all of its data at any time, from the app or by asking us here. It can't be undone.
Delete it in the app
- Open Barya and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away, on every device, and you're signed out.
Ask us to delete it
No longer have the app? Send a request from the Google email you sign in with, and we'll delete it for you.
Request deletion
Use the subject "Delete my Barya account". We confirm by replying to that email, then delete everything within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Every expense, daily budget and Z-reading
- Monthly budgets, refills and your categories
- Savings goals and their top-ups
- Loans, subscriptions and their payments
- Income, your buffer and History
- Your profile, avatar and Google sign-in link
What we keep, and for how long
- Copies in our providers' routine database backups are erased as those backups expire, within 30 days.
- Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google under their own policies. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings too.
- Data saved only on your phone is removed when you delete the account in the app, or when you uninstall Barya.
